After finishing an enlistment in the US Navy, Ralph joined Hannaford Bros. Co. in the early 70s and, over a 19-year career, was part of the team that established Hannaford as a food retail company in addition to a simple distribution company. In 1992 Ralph left Hannaford to join the professional consulting firm of Walker and Associates in Portland, Maine as a precursor to creating the business known as Priority Learning today. At Walker's he established an Organizational Development arm for the Walker's so the organization could offer this benefit to its clients. Ralph worked with the established clients at Walker's to bring development to leaders and build productive workplaces.

The establishment of Priority Learning began in 1995 with Ralph as its founder and leader. Since beginning the business, Priority Learning, Ralph, and his team have worked with hundreds of clients all over the United States. There is no standard client for Priority Learning. Ranging from banks to small manufacturing companies and everything in between, "people" are the primary focus at Priority Learning. In the 15 years since starting the company Priority Learning has facilitated countless learning experiences and has conducted training for thousands of managers and leaders. With over 30 years of leadership development and organizational development background and work, Ralph and his associates continue to build relationships with client companies all over New England and the U.S.
